The Good Shepard was captured from a church window seen on the a Maine coastal island and specifically, on Isle au Haut.

It graces the beautiful Union Congregational Church that sits aloft on a small hillside to the left of the mailboat dock.

I have walked the boardwalk to the church several times over the years. This time, probably through my own Bible studies, the window's radiance drew me in. I hoped I could capture its essence with my pastels.

The image you see here is the result of my work through the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
