About the Artist
My Design business, Floral Artistry, gave me the privilege of lecturing at the major museums in the United States. Working for PBS, as the set designer for John Williams and the Boston Pops, strongly reinforced my artistic skills and goals. Through my reliance on scale, proportion and color, my creativity moved forward with strength. However, the great benefit of my years of exposure on National Public Television, was to connect me to people around the world.
Having my own garden included in the Archives of American Gardens at the Smithsonian Institute, has given credentials to a life time of nurturing the earth with my hands through the calling of my soul.
With my painting, as with my lecturing, my goal is to inspire and to share my passion for life through my creativity. My art captures my feelings and vision in two dimensional form. The energy I receive from our environment and my travels and studies worldwide, serve to ground me and give unending inspiration to my life as a painter.
I am a seeker of the beautiful, the gentle, the strong, and the emotional.
These feelings motivate me to paint with exuberance and to share my work with excitement. Thank you for taking your time to reflect upon and to understand my work. I hope you will reach out to connect with me through my paintings.
